I lost the desire to give because it seemed that everyone took more than I had to offer. I lost all the desires I held close to my heart, all except for one: It was in the messages I heard at church, in bible study and in conversations with friends and strangers; sweet words of comfort were consistently spoken to me.

Learning about these things replenished the desires I thought faded away. After being sad for so long, I craved joy. After being bitter and filled with hatred, I craved love.

After being irresponsibly selfish, I craved self-control. I became so desperate for the fruits of the spirit after lacking them for so long and indulging in the acts of the flesh Galation 5: Since learning this my desires are to obtain and share what has grown in my heart!
